Ocean Wilderness Sea Kayaking runs whale spotting tours between the months of September and November, the Wilderness Coast is one of the best places in the world to view the whales as they feed on their migratory route down to Antarctica.

The majority of whales sighted are the mighty Humpback whales. Other species include the Southern Rights, Blue, Dwarf Minke, Bryde’s, Orca, Pilot, Sperm and several species of Beaked Whales have been sighted off the coast in recent years.

There are some great locations along the Sapphire Coast to view whales from  Horse Shoe Bay, Bermagui to Twofold Bay,Eden. Ocean Wilderness will make every attempt to view whales on our tours but can not guarantee a viewing, we will however guarantee that there is no better way to see whales than from a sea kayak.
